Hi Nicky

Al Gore has yet to declare, but it's early days. Basically, my philosophy is that almost anyone has to be better than Bush. ;-) (Of course, I voted against him in both elections.) Often the elections are matter of voting against the greater evil. ;-) There is never a candidate that represents my views 100%, probably because they are mix of ideas from both the major political parties, and some of the minor ones.

I read a recent poll in the newspaper stating the number 1 election issue is Iraq (big surprise there), and the number 2 issue is health care. As most of the Republican candidates who have declared are more in favor of continuing the mess in Iraq than any of the Democratic candidates, and I don't expect any Republican to be in favor of universal health care, I will no doubt be voting for a Democrat.
