My doctor is delighted that I want to test more. She said she was always delighted anytime a diabetic wants to test more. We go over my test results when I see her & she points certain things out to me.

GIYF = What?

There's nothing personal about this change of subject line. This was absolutely an appropriate subject change to reflect where the discussion had gone. I applaud it. Too often here in ASD threads go on & on without being changed to reflect the natural topic drift. More apt subject lines help people choose what threads to read and to find things when they are looking back through things. Plus, he made a reference to the new thread in the past thread & notated what the subject line had been at the beginning of his new thread, first post. All very Usenetiquettey!

The question wasn't whether to test at the beginning of the meal or not, per se. And, of course, not all of us use insulin, period, even though we may be paying attention to what our carb intake is.
